About the event
See Belver live at the Folklore Rooms Brighton!
Friday 02 October 8pm
We're really looking forward to bringing some of our favourite tunes and songs to perform at the wonderful Folklore rooms. Also excited to be joined by The Herring bones who are kicking things off with some rousing sea shanties!
Belver are a dynamic three-piece folk band based in Sussex, made up of Jack Hogsden (melodeons, guitars), Dom Doran (whistles), and Harry Abel (fiddle). With a shared love of traditional music and a playful on-stage chemistry, they breathe new life into English folk tunes—mixing driving rhythm, rich harmonies, and a touch of mischief.
The Herring Bones: Purveyors o fine shanties an tunes dredged up an hollered out wit tha hardest workin tonsils this side o tha white cliffs!
